IMPORTANT SET-UP AND USE INSTRUCTIONS Chinook Outdoor Gear TM Dropin’ Out Anchor Rope Bag TM Set-up Instructions 1. Tie a knot in the end of your Anchor Rope leaving a tail approximately 12 inches long. 2. Feed that tail down into the bag and through the grommet. 3. Tie a knot on the outside of the bag in the above tail. Your anchor rope is now tied into your bag. 4. Pile the rope into the bag, coiling the rope will tend to cause tangles. 5. Set up your anchor and anchor puller on the rope as you normally would. Use of your Dropin’ Out Anchor Rope Bag 1. Anchor as you normally would. 2. After your anchor is set and tied off at the bow, pull a little extra rope out of the bag. Wrap the cleat as you would wrap a cleat on the side of your boat. 3. VERY IMPORTANT: Finish with a half hitch over the cleat. 4. Close the bag by crossing the buckles. 5. Attach a small buoy to the D-ring below the cleat. This will mark your bag and reduce the chance of running over it. 6. Now you are ready to fish. 7. When you need to drop out, untie your line from the bow and toss the bag and small buoy over board. 8. When you are finished for the day, remember to untie the cleat before you refill your bag.
